Dr. Tommy Carlson
Dr. Tommy Carlson grew up in Maryland, just outside of Washington, DC. He attended Chapelgate Christian Academy, where he excelled both in the classroom and on the field. He was the starting goalkeeper on the soccer pitch and demonstrated his leadership as the captain of the lacrosse team. He received numerus honors for these positions including being named on the school’s All-Decade Lacrosse Team. He went on to receive his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from one of the country’s top kinesiology programs at Towson University. While at Towson, he played lacrosse at the highest club level where he became a NCLL Division I National Champion. He chose to continue his education at Life University, in Marietta Georgia where he pursued his Doctorate in Chiropractic. While in chiropractic school, Dr. Tommy coached group fitness HIIT classes as well as led indoor water rower training sessions.
Dr. Carlson has a passion for applying his understanding of the body and his experience as a lifelong athlete to help his patients achieve their goals. At Life University he studied under some of the best chiropractic educators in the country. He utilizes his expertise in several chiropractic techniques to treat anything from headaches to foot pain. He believes that chiropractic allows you to unlock your fullest potential. Tommy looks forward to being a part of the Colorado Springs community and can’t wait to hike, bike, ski, and fish throughout Colorado. Dr. Casey Mathews
Always having a passion for animals, Dr. Casey grew up in Central Pennsylvania with horses, cats, dogs, chickens, fish, and hermit crabs over the years. Ever since seeing the benefits that chiropractic care provided to her own pets, she knew her calling. In the pursuit of combining her love of animals and health, she started her journey by attending The Pennsylvania State University where she studied Kinesiology. Dr. Mathews continued her education by earning a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree at Life University in Marietta, Georgia. She graduated top of her class, receiving the Magna cum Laude designation. She further attended Options for Animals College of Animal Chiropractic in Wellsville, Kansas and is certified by the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association.
Casey loves all things wellness and functional health, for you and every one of your family members, regardless of species. Her adjustments and recommendations are specific to each individual and their lifestyle. She knows firsthand the power of chiropractic and cannot wait to share it with her new community. When she’s not in the office or visiting barns, she’ll be barefoot in the woods or spending time with Tommy, their bunny and their two cats.
